Seen Any Good Movies?

I want to see that one too. I hate it when you see the potential in a movie and it doesn't come up. I felt that way about the wizard of Oz film

As I saw it on my todd (to kill time whilst Ruth was on her course in Preston) I'll be seeing this again this weekend I think. Then it'll be time for Man of Steel which I'm really looking forward (whilst hoping they don't fuck it up again)!

Saying nothing yet apart from the fact that as a DC/Superman fan I came out of the cinema very happy....

Yes it's flawed in places & a little too long but I still love it.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (Sky Box Office)

Utter, utter tosh. Less than 90 mins film time (Thank god). Not even Gemma Arterton in tight leather pants can save this risible piece if sh....

All films should be seen on the big screen! Despite it's 30+ year age it's held up well (bar a few obvious model/blue screen shots).

Really enjoyed it!

Watched Bucky Larson yesterday and Bourne Legacy the other night.

The Wolverine.........................After the last solo outing of Logan I didn't have many expectations for this new offering from Marvel Studios, and I was right. Too many long drawn out scenes and not enough action, although the fight and action scenes are quite good when they eventually arrive. I found the opening scene quite disturbing, but anything to do with atomic bombs always gives me the shivers. A very long and exciting "secret" after the credits scene sets up the next X-Men movie very well.
One for the diehard Marvel fan, if you're not one wait for the dvd or don't bother at all. 6/10.

Oblivion (Tom Cruise)

There's two types of Sci Fi film where I come from. All action romps like Star Wars & Flash Gordon & Serious Intelligent thought provoking but usually boring stuff. This was the latter.

Looks nice (although muted colours) enough, with a decent enough storyline but I found myself getting bored half way through....gimme some lightsabers & blaster action!!!

3 months for us!!! (2 months for me because I saw Flash Gordon at the cinema. Did I tell you that?)
