| What movies from the past do you think should be part of everyone's Dvd collection? (One movie per post please guys ) You could post a little note saying why! I'll start... Back To The FutureI always get a warm happy feeling when I watch this flick it reminds me of my youth & my old friends. I went to see this when I was 15 years old & I immediately wanted to buy a skate board after seeing the movie Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly was awesome (even though Eric Stoltz landed the part originally) & Christopher Lloyd as The Doc was legendary!...& I mustn't forget Thomas F. Wilson who played "Biff" the biggest bully at Hill Valley! This movie can still compete with stuff done today. Filled with great one liners like "I'm George, George McFly. I'm your density. I mean... your destiny" - The film also boast's a killer soundtrack too!!! What films do it for you? Matty | |

| Easy Peasy...
Star Wars AKA SW:EP IV A New Hope.
I remember the first time I saw this and the cinema I saw this in (it was in Blackpool).
This film changed my life forever.
Still as good as it was when it was first released. Shame GL doesn't think it's finished and keeps messing with it...

So its not just me then!!!....I think all the new films are "piss"... its just CGI overkill! The first three films were excellent, but sometimes you just "can't" recapture the magic with sequels & remakes!

| Shawshank Redemption Probably one of the best movie of all time! I can watch it over and over. Real telling about the human spirit and who doesn't like a good prison flick! | |

Like you, I can watch it over and over. Ive seen it about 10 times. Another great movie is The Green Mile......I cried at the end when they showed the little mouse that aged just like Tom Hanks did...little guy looked so old!! It was cute. Thats not the reason I like the movie though. Im not sure why I like the movie actually! It was just a great movie

| Return of the Jedi-- I'll never forget going to see it at the theater, which was PACKED! It was literally like being at a live sporting event. People standing up and cheering, screaming, the works! I've never seen anything like it since. | |
