NHL Fans.

Anybody else here interested in the Stanley Cup finals ???? Looks like this year is going to be another tight battle. My team's not there as usual (not since 1967 !! ) but I think I might be leaning towards The Penguins as they have gone through a rebuilding process over the last few years and have earned the rewards.

I was watching til Washington lost. I would rather see Pitt than Detroit, but if Detroit does win it they have a Winnipeger on their team. Helm.

Why do you follow Washington ? I thought you might keep an eye on the Coyotes seeing as they were the Winnipeg Jets until '96, or is that a sore point ?

Boston are in the same division as Toronto in the NBA, NHL and MLB and they're always finishing above us ( in everything !!) so therefore the city of Boston is my sporting nemesis !!!

I love it there !!! In fact it was a toss up whether we were going to move there or (where we ended up) Dorset. Dorset won as Stevie's (Mrs H) parents are still around and she didn't want to move that far away from them.
We still might consoder it later when there are no ties here.

I would love to live where you do. Looks so peaceful and serene, plus I'd love to be able to go to the beach whenever I felt like it.

My friend played for them and I like Ovechkin too. Lots of people follow the Coyotes, but they just haven't done anything, just like when there were here. You should see the Jets stuff you can buy here. I am sure it out sells all the other NHL stuff and it is licensed by the NHL too.

I've found that with a lot of American and Canadian sports fans, once their team starts losing, they lose interest !

The teams I support aren't perennial winners ( far from it! ) but I still follow them no matter what.

Well done Pittsburgh on winning a 7 game thriller !!
