Get well Mr Kinnear...we need you!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to really respect Newcastle, but everything about the club has turned into a soap opera! I have a soft spot for the club as my late Grandad was a Gordie & used to follow them. I think with their stadium, fan base & money they should be top six, but pushing for the title? thats a bridge too far! some of their fans are still stuck in the 96 / 97 season! Still, Up the Toon!!

Still, Up the Toon!! Soap opera! Ain't that the truth...you couldn't make it up really! It's just one thing after another! And I actually think Newcastle have forgotten what it is that makes a club great...great stadium, fans are as loyal as they come but that counts for nothing if you don't have stability and a team that can play together! - pete wrote:

But when he's fit he's is quality! Thing is...he's rarely fit!!!!... But it ain't just Owen, we've had Martins, Viduka, Smith, Duff all out with long term injuries! But at least we have that quality striker Ameobi... As for Kinnear...at least he took the job! Newcastle manager must be the most unwanted job in football!!! He's giving it a shot, but I have to say I do still feel there's the dreaded possibility of going down still looming... At the end of the day it's just entertainment to me, I don't get too worked up about it...but I do hate it when we lose to the makems!!!! And I won't be happy if we do go down tho!!!...

| And I would like to state....for the record...I want Liverpool to win the Premiership!!!
After Newcastle, Liverpool are the team for me. They don't make a song and dance about things like Man U/Chelsea & Aresnal...they just get on with things on the whole, anyway.
C'mon, get it together and claw back those points!!!!

'DRB!!!'... 10 Draws now I think. Only only defeat but it's the draws (especially at home) that are costing us.

| Just in guys!!!
Liverpool have confirmed that chief executive Rick Parry will leave the club at the end of the season.
Parry will remain at Anfield until the climax of the campaign so that the Reds, who are set to initiate a search for a successor, are able to allow for a smooth transition process.
Speculation has suggested that Parry's stay on Merseyside, which began in 1997, has been in doubt for a number of weeks following reports of an ongoing row with the club's Spanish manager Rafa Benitez.
It is understood the pair have failed to see eye-to-eye over the club's transfer policy and academy recruitment plans, with Benitez - who guided his team to a UEFA Champions League victory at Real Madrid on Wednesday - thought to be looking for full control.
And Benitez now appears to have won the power battle, with co-owner Tom Hicks telling the club's official website: "Rick's commitment to Liverpool football club is epitomised by his desire to ensure that this transitional period is managed efficiently and we are grateful to him for his help. He will always remain a friend of the football club."

1. Man U 2. Chelsea 3. Liverpool 4. Villa
Survival - Blackburn Rovers
Relegated
18. Stoke City 19. Middlesbrough 20. West Bromwich Albion
There's still around 15 games left to play, so its still up for grabs While I really want to see Liverpool take the title realistically Man U (DRB) will be hard to topple. They are a football machine. Pretty much agree with the top 4, just the orders debateable. Relegation...WBA are as good as gone! I actually like 'Boro so would like to see them stay up...Stoke I can see goin but really Hull, Spurs, Newcastle & Pompey all need to start winning some games...as they say 'No club is too big to go down'. It's all down to results...
