That's saved some money though! Duct tape works wonders!!!!!!!!!!!! No Duct tape used!! Turned water off, disconnected intake hoses, drained them. Soaked up excess water with cloth, reconnected hoses, turned water back on, used washing machine, still dry where once was wet!!! Dead easy when you know how!!! Next job! Change all the washers on the taps!!!

Nah, cos the water would eventually erode the stickyness and it'd still leak..unless you were using this... http://www.wickes.co.uk/ptfe-tape/invt/420188/ See I did learn something!

| When did manners die?
I have just held the door open for 2 women at work to get through, as they had drinks in their hands, and niether of them said 'thank you!'
Costs nothing and shows appreciation. Next time I'll just keep on walking and let them open the freakin door themselves.
But would that make me as bad as them? It's a vicious circle!!!! But it also REALLY bugs me...

Used to love trying to beat my own time home when the roads were less busy at night!!! Cycling rules. Drivers can be right wankers at times though. Funny thing is they don't realise that I am a road tax, insurance paying driver too, so I understand their frustations when it comes to slow moving cyclists!!

| For a logistics company called Gist (Google gistworld). Back to driving class 2's. 2pm-10pm 4 days on 4 days off. Looks like a really good company and the wages are pretty good (£3.50 an hour more than I'm earning now). Interview at 4pm today. Hope they like me. | |

| Good luck Roger.....
Manners....Seems to be a lost art to most...I think its important to have and use them..Lord knows I try too and try to teach my kids too. As for other people, don't let them take that away from you. If they show no curtesy then dont stoop to their level. Don't lower yourself to being like them because thats how it starts...You be who you are because its pride in the people who raised you to have class....
