Hi guys just heard from Adam and I could hear the smile in his voice......Ill leave all the show details up to him to give (which he better in a fully detailed report) but he was just over the top and had the best time....He ended up being right at the front and had a blast...... Nice to hear one of us got to have such a good experience......and will be able to share it with us once he recovers!!

I'm sitting here with the windows open, drinking a coffee listening to the dawn chorus, watching the sheep wander across the hills and thinking " Isn't it nice and peaceful here, but I wish my ears were still ringing after seeing KISS last night at the O2 !!!!! " Oh well, I'll read RFFB's account when I get home for work and start counting the days until May.

A good friend kept me updated with the set list last night. Not the most adventurous, but hell I'd have loved to have been there. A few reports have popped up elsewhere.
Looking forward to hearing Adam's report though (and how Paul's voice is).

Let's face facts. Paul is nearly 60, despite the obvious facts that can be heard when listening to him his voice has aged too, so of course he can't sing as well as he used to!
Hell I'm 36 and can't run as far without takling a breath as I did when I was 16. It just saddens me to hear Paul like this now after what he has been like, and I would hope that they are seriously considering 'retiring' after this tour is completed.

it is sad but a fact fo life....Truly for his age he looks amazing.....and I can see though if you have been listening to him for so long the voice changes must be obvious...I think there is atime when they need to be more of a memory than a road show...To me they were heading in that direction before hand and it was so sad to watch....They were touring here and there doing State Fairs of all things and no one could care less...They were becoming a joke--Fast!
Lets hope they go out on top.....leaving us wanting more......

At last!!!! A voice of reason!!!
I really do not get those who say he sounds 'fine' or 'good' - not that he always sounds bad but like you said it saddens me to when I hear him as he does now compared to how he was.
As for the last tour...not sure. I think I'd like one more album and a real Farewell Tour.

Voice of reason? Nah, just a realist who can see how time has caught up with him..
I'd love a final record featuring every living Kiss member and a final tour/show where the originals, Vinnie, Bruce, Eric , Tommy etc all make a contribution. Can't see it happening but it's a nice dream.
Now back to Paul. It is obvious he has a problem. I assume it is down to age. If it's something else (nodules etc) then I don't know why he doesn't get it treated.
Seems to me his problems occured during the recording of Live to Win as certain tracks on there have an edge, but then he sounds fine on the live DVD.
Anyway hope he's ok for this tour at least. I know there was a rumour going round in 2004 that during the RTN tour he was heard to say to Gene something like 'I can't do this anymore'?
Whatever happens I've have some great times with Kiss, so here's to Kiss and ALL lineups!
