| Well I guess that job wasn't meant for Stevie...Hope the next one is even better....
Today the radiation cloud from the Japan disaster is supposed to reach the west coast. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned what to do with my boys. What do you guys think..Play outside or not? | |

Oh dear. That does not sound good, but I'd be very surprised if any significant contamination would have travelled that far. It's not even that bad in the locality, tho it is getting worse. But, that said, better to be safe that sorry. Looks like they might have to play trains indoors! | |

| I have two of the biggest appoinments of the year for me today. And to make things worse I was planning these for Tuesday so I had to stay up all night and get ready..which I think I am. So send me the good vibes I need for these.....and even better I'll have a full day off tomorrow!!!!!

| thanks guys.......I am hoping for the best....
My oldest son has some learning disabilities and today I meet with the entire school board to get him the services he needs.....
its hard because our state is facing bankrupcy and they have cut so much money out of the school budgets.....
But I am going to go for it and do all I can for him!!!!

| It went so well!!! Better than I could have ever exspected...Not only did the meeting go well but I was given an answer right away. They said that I was so well prepared with my information and left little doubt with all of the testing I have gathered on my own which just coroborated exactly what there tests said. So I will be getting the paperwork to sign within 24 hours and James will start receiving services at school to help him get passed this little block he has...I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh and just so I can brag for a second I asked to see his placement on the state Bell curve to see where he was in relation to other children his age..She showed me the chart and explained what was average and what was superior. When I questioned why he was not placed on the chart she smiled and said simply that James was so far above the bell curve that he could not be included because it would throw the other children off. Out of an average of 10,000 kids tested he is one of 2 for his age that does not fit on the chart. I need to save for college!!!!!!!!!!!! So see all of my bad spelling and grammer especially in this thread is due to the fact that James took it from me when I carried him!!!!!!!
