Ozzy. Dio has the better voice but I discovered Ozzy first.

That is so hard!

I went with Ozzy because I have followed him as he changes through all of these years. Like Pete said, I heard it first. He left such an impression and I love his voice.

I love Dio he is an amazing talent and I could say nothing bad about him!

Sabbath were the first rock band I really got into...I loved RJD in Rainbow...best singer Ritchie had in the band, he was perfect for them. But RJD in Sabbath just didn't work for me. His solo stuff though...class.

But OZZY w/Sabbath and his solo stuff does it for me. 'DOAM' is just an amazing album. Plus he really is a RnR legend!!!

The better poll would be Who is Older?? Ozzy or Dio??

If the question had been 'who do you think is the better singer' then the answer wound be Dio...who's work do I prefer though and Ozzy comes out on top everytime. From his Sabbath stuff to his solo stuff Ozzy wins!

It helps that he is a bit crazy tho! Tho very shy and humble the one time I met him. A real pleasure.

And Sharon is a bit on the annoying side. What with all the 'X Factor' crap, and the other dumb rubbish (dubious) 'talent' shows.

Yep. 'BATM' tour at Newcastle Mayfair. The support band were Heavy Pettin and I saw them support KISS in '83 on the whole of the UK tour and got talkin to them. We stayed in touch for a while and they got me a pass to the show. Spent around an hour with Ozzy and his band. Mainly talked to Jake as he was new and no-one gave a crap about him! Spoke about RATT amongst other things. Ozzy bein the main man was being hassled by all the hangers on so I gave him some space, but had a canny chat with him.

Found him very friendly, shy, unassuming & so humble. Called him a "true star" and he visibly blushed and just said "I'm no star, man. I'm just a kid from the streets." What a guy.
