THOR----------------Despite my reservations Mr. Branagh has done a good job with this character. Good story and effects (natch.) and nicely ties in with recent Marvel films. Can't wait until The " Avengers Assemble !!!". 8/10

Yes, I enjoyed Thor, not as much as I enjoyed Captain America but enjoyed non the less. Did you watch until the credits had rolled?

Oh yes, always do. Very Happy

Good, as that scene is apparently integral to the Avengers movie...

THE GREEN HORNET--------------------Slick, fast paced, good effects, full of action and good story. Unfortunately this all pales into insignificance when you find yourself wishing the hero meets a gruesome death. 5/10

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM.----------Don't know why I've missed this little gem but I'm glad I've finally got to see it. Very enjoyable, it really appealed to my imagination (yeah, I know, Big Kid !!) and the cheesy ending scene wth Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan had me in fits of laughter !! Hope the sequel is just as good (will find out soon as I'm off to watch it. Very Happy 9/10

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2-------------------- I agree with Pete, not as good as the 1st one but still good for some light entertainment. 7/10

X-MEN. FIRST CLASS----------------Ooooooooo now this is good !!!! Loved the slick pace of this and the great story line. But still not, in my mind, anywhere near the original team of Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey (Marvel Girl), Beast, Iceman and Angel (who btw is NOT an insect winged bint from a stripclub, but an angel winged man as seen in X-Men.Last Stand.) Having said that this might be my favourite X-Men movie so far. 8.5/10.
What's been playing in your DVD recently ?? - Page 31 Xmen10 THIS is how the originals should line up and look like !!! Very Happy

Watched Green Lantern on Sky Box office last night. It's ok, but just ok & I can understand why it's not done as well as hoped.

Hate to say it but apart from Superman & Batman DC don't have as many decent secondary heroes compared to Marvel.

Sadly not. DC have the two (pardon the pun) Super Powers with Superman & Batman after that Wonder Woman? Green Lantern? Martian Manhunter??? Can't really compare that with Hulk, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Thor etc...

Still it's nice to have a little competition...

Does it lose a mark as Magneto is more Irish than German at times?

THE GREEN LANTERN-----------------As is usual when I sit down to watch a film with little expectation I found myself enjoying this very much. Being a D.C moive I didn't have much background knowledge of the character. But the quick and precise explination of events at the beginning of the movie gave me all the info I needed. Loved all the action and the COOL Lantern uniform. Hope this is not a one off and we get to see another adventure with this (to me) new hero. 7/10

Unfortunately I don't think this did very well (at the box office) so I'm not sure if we'll get a sequel. Be a shame as I'd love t see Hal go up against Sinestro.

Well the obligatory after credits scene did suggest that happening.

Yeah, but asI say I'm not sure it made enough cash to warrant a sequel. We'll probably get a 'reimagining' in a few years... Rolling Eyes
