Got to admit I still haven't got to the seats stage yet at regular venues, but for a large event like Bruce it does make sense. No trying to fing your party if you do need to go get a drink, or whatever, and standing for a 3 hour show might be a bit much!

I hate seats at gigs or more to the point I hate the moaning miserable old gits who complain about how much they paid to see this & keep jabbing you to sit down!!!! It's a rucking rock & roll gig you old cunts!!!! If you wanted to sit go see a play, the opera or the ballet!!!

That, actually, is a good point!

While it's cool to not have to stand during a shite support band, or while waiting for the headline act, when the main event starts I do prefer to stand! Tho, in truth, I don't tend to buy seats...yet!

Indeed it must. I only got seats as I was with Ruth & she's not keen on the floor. There were floor seats but all the decent ones went in the pre sales ()...

Def Leppard will release a live DVD, Viva! Hysteria, in which they play their blockbuster album in full, on October 21.

It was shot during their Las Vegas residency earlier this year – and it was the first time ever they’d played any of their records from beginning to end.

Frontman Joe Elliott says: “We’ve been asked for many years if we’d ever do it, and the answer was always ‘no’ because we’d be out promoting a new album.

“Then in March and April 2013, when we had no new music to promote, we had a chance to revisit arguably our most important album. It was an easy decision to make.

“As for Vegas, it’s no longer perceived as the place crooners go to die – Motley Crue, Elton John, Guns n’Roses and Cheap Trick have recently done residencies. Rock’n'roll has definitely moved in; there was no better place for us to take the show. It was a fantastic experience for us and for our fans.”

Viva! Hysteria will be available in CD/DVD, Blu-ray, DVD and digital formats. Cinema showings are being planned and will be announced in due course. The band are also set to appear in a documentary series.

Guitarist VIvian Campbell – who’s about to hit the UK with Last In Line, made up of the original members of Dio minus late singer Ronnie – recently admitted he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Def Lep returned to Vegas for a second stint.
