Nope, didn't go to Spain as I couldn't get the time off work. But I was lucky as Stevie had a completely crappy time as she went with her parents and her Mother was taken ill. Stevie ended up running around being nursemaid and going to the pharmacist for medicines. She arrived home pissed off and exhausted.

So it's Pope Francis, makes a change for Catholic priests to choose a fanny.

I'm happy about the new pope. I am really glad he is from this side of the world too as much as I love my Italian heritage we need a change in the church.
The new HF is really cool too. From Argentina and has devoted his entire life to the people. Lives very simply which for a cardinal is unheard of. Takes the subway or bus to work everyday and is really one to stand up for the poor. The country loves him which says a lot. Very progressive thinker and for a Catholic thats a big deal.. Ripped his priests when they balked about baptising the babies of single mothers..said "That is not what Jesus would do" and made sure those rules were changed. He is strong minded and very aggresive at helping to prosecute those disgusting child molesting priests so if anyone can save the church this one has a good chance.
I was raised Catholic and while I dont practice and I am personally angry at the Los Angeles archdiocy I was thrilled to watch the decision making process and very very happy with the outcome.
