When did Bon Jovi go shit?

Bon Jovi.They used to be a great hair metal band with catchy singlalong tunes. When did they turn shit?

Last good album by them was "Keep the faith"..They lost the plot after that..were more interested in top 40 ballad chart success!

Their first five albums were great - They've had some magical years in rock! - "Wanted Dead Or Alive" say no more!

Well, Chrissy ya know a lot of the early connection that Bon Jovi had w/ fans was based on their looks. Jon & Ritchie had become bonafide sex symbols back then & a large portion of their fan base that made them out to be 'Gods' were from this group??

Bon Girlie...rock music for the little kiddies who actually think 'cos they own a Bon Girlie album they are rockers.

That's what always comes to mind when I think of Bon Jovi. It is kinda true (IMO), but while I can't claim to be a fan there is no doubt the wanna be rocker/cowboy/actor that is JBJ has written some classic sing-a-long stompers.

They, to me, are a band who have 2 or 3 really good songs on each of early album and that's about it. But those 2 or 3 are class!!

The last BJ album I heard through was 'Crush' - 'It's My Life' is a stomper...the rest sucks!

New Jersey with 'Bad Medicine', 'Lay Your Hands On Me', 'Wild Is The Wind' (what a song!), & 'Stick To Your Guns' is the last half decent album I think.

The best thing about Bon Jovi is I met them in 1984, supporting KISS, and traded their autographs for a signed Michelle Pfeiffer photo!! Saved me £45!!!...

As soon as I heard "Have A Nice Day", I knew I could no longer consider myself a fan. Their early stuff is tops (alot of it anyway), but they do nothing for me now.

I liked The unplugged version of I'm a cowboy song OR is it called Dead or Alive? I don't know but, when they did that song on a Music awards show I thought it sounded pretty darn good. I thought Jon and Richie were Talented and handsome. I don't know one album from the next because I wasn't a fan. Little too twinkyish for me.

Sorry, RFFB, but when I heard "It's My LIfe," I knew they were done. . .from a cool point of view.

When I was a kid, "Living on a Prayer," "Shot Through the Heart," and "Bad Medicine" were killer though!
