DEEP PURPLE--------------------------Burn. ( Classic album, and you don't get to hear Sail Away very often.)

KISS!!!!
HELL OR HAJ-LAYUUULLLLL-YA (no I can't spell it!!!)
Vocal issues aside, this is surprisingly REALLY GOOD!!!

I knew that riff reminded me of another song...from 29 seconds...

Hmm...well I think my expectations of what KISS offer up these days has decreased and I'm just glad I don't hate it like I did MDD when it was the first single off SB and, tbh, most of SB.
It's not classic KISS and it does sound very similiar to a load of other songs (derivative is the term I'm lookin for!), but it's better than I expected...so for now I'll take that.

I think Paul will struggle with it live to be honest but hey we'll all turn a blind eye (or is that a deaf ear) to that particular hot potato!!!

Somehow I think that's the best approach unless it REALLY spoils the show, like it did in Stockholm.
As I said elsewhere, you just have to acept what KISS is, and what they are going to offer these days, otherwise you just aren't going to enjoy any of it.

Iron Maiden - Powerslave....
Hell or Hallelujah has passed me by. It's a good song but it sounds like a reject from Animalize & we all know how poor that album is. Looking forward to Monster but hoping it's better than HOH

Hmmm...
The Darkness - Hot Cakes 7/10 Jackyl - Best in Show 9/10 Kiss - Destroyer (ressurected) 10/10 for the original album & the remastering. 0/10 for the added stuff. Seriously what's the difference in solo's on Sweet Pain?!?!? Gene you could've made this so good...you didn't. Shame another missed opportunity.
