I have always been a died in the red and black Atlanta Falcons fan, if you'd consider "always" being since the early to mid seventies, and now we're looking at homefield advantage for the playoffs - with the much relished and extraordinarily timed late December bye week. This is what it has come to, and this is what it's all about, my fine friends. TWELVE AND TWO ! ! !

O, no you di -int! "Lots of heart," yeah! I appreciate the sentiment, Chrissy; however, I think that's nearly all one could say for an organization which has been around since the mid -sixties and only been to one Superbowl, and lost that! Please tell me your fiend isn't William Andrews, Billy Rickman, Alfred Jenkins, or Steve Bartkowski!

Saints have to beat Tampa Bay and hope Falcons lose against Carolina next week. If that happens Saints win the division and Falcons are wildcards. But that's not going to happen ( would be a real shock if it did ) as Carolina are the weakest team in the NFL at the moment so Atlanta should win the division.

Very good, Roger. Carolina wil be playing Atlanta in Atlanta, too, whcih will make it even harder on them. I'd only give it a Fairly Likely that N.O. will beat Tampa Bay, also.

The game obviously counted as a win for N.O., Chrissy, however, the win isn't really worth very much . . . as a win for N.O. - this gives them a wildcard's fighting chance against a strong Tampa Bay, or, as a loss for Atlanta ( considering the odds against Carolina winning in Atlanta) Nice tits.

It'll be good if the Saints and Falcs meet in the NFC championship game.
