Badly sunburned, rediscovering the pleasure of silence, and reentering my contemplative corner with soft rock lilting through the rose tinted din, after having spent the last eleven days, in twelve hour shifts, with my head up Daytona International Speedway's ass has me believing I've been marooned on another planet ( with an unreasonably bright and powerful sun which NEVER, EVER LETS UP, and a half million NASCAR FANS) Like, I don't know. Whatever. My head is still not right. Man. With the first race of the season in the history books - and a nobody who turned twenty the FN day before the race taking the Checkered Flag . . . Lucky son of a bitch! (O, well. He drove five hundred miles just like everyone else to get there.) the coolers were - - - ARE a gigantic, humongous, resounding success! ! ! ! ! ! Online sales are up 1500% We've got contacts all over the NASCAR planet lining up for a piece of the pie, and investors from South America to Australia.
I'm going to be busy refining the "plugged-in" sounds I have to play with, because - O, yeah. I haven't told anyone here, yet. Maybe later. Ciao | |
