Had a really bad night. My leg swelled up like a balloon and I was in agony for a couple of hours ( even my strongest pain killers didn't have an effect ), so I haven't gone in today. The managers have agreed this is a trail period and if it doesn't work so be it.
I think I know what caused it. It got quite busy at one point yesterday, someone asked for cigarettes and I forgot myself and stood up from my stool and twisted 'round to get them from behind me, I felt a twinge at the time but thought nothing of it. I just hope I haven't done any real damage.

Roger I hope you feel better soon....All those nerves and muscles are still learning how to work nice again so give them a few days of being babied and you should feel better....

$250.00 later Vet says she either has Gastrointestinal Ulcers or Cancer. Ultra Sound is $300-$500.00 I don't know if I should even bother giving her all this medicine. Never had a pet growing up. They sure work their way into your heart...

They certainly do, but the first thing you have to do when you get a pet is take out Vet insurance.

Its just my opinion but i am not a fan of big medicine on animals..I've walked that and swore never to do it again..I had a rottweiler with cancer and went through every chemo, radiation, scan and surgery they could do..Ive learned and this is for me...if they can't treat it with medicine then leave them alone..if it causes them pain constantly and ruins their quality of life then let them go.. If a little medicine will help them then great thats pretty simple..I had a cat with ulcers..she was really old..we fed her baby food...and the doctor prescribed a little tummy pill.
Good luck and trust with your gut..Listen to what your heart tells you that you need to do to have peace..We are entrusted to these little creatures care and its hard..but sometimes our emotions take over and the vet turns us into a cash register and our pet suffers....

We just Celebrated my Fathers 90th Birthday!! woohooo!!! We had such a great time Family, neighbors, my Fathers oldest friends from back in the day!! They all grew up in a place called Canaryville Chicago. Sometimes refered to as "Back of the yards." After a few people left and my Dad was having another piece of birthday cake. My nephew said Grandpa did you have fun at your Birthday Party? He said Oh it's my Birthday?? I was wondering why all these people were over... He said how old am I again?? Am I 100 years old??? awww I sure do love him
