Mötley Crüe's Saints of Los Angeles tour kicks off next Monday, February 2nd in San Diego, CA. Coming along for the ride as support on the tour are Hinder, Theory of a Deadman and The Last Vegas. The Live Nation produced, six week tour includes two of the last performances at The Joint in Las Vegas and a stop at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The tour shares it's name with Mötley Crüe's latest studio album, released in June 2008. Saints of Los Angeles is the band's first studio album in over a decade featuring the original line-up (Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee) and their ninth album to date. Based on the band's New York Times bestseller The Dirt, the disc debuted at #1 on the Independent Album chart and was the top debut of the week on the Billboard's top 200 at #4. In July 2008, the band took their new album on the road with their inaugural Crüe Fest, which was the biggest selling tour of the summer. "Saints of Los Angeles" is nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 2009 Grammy Awards.

lol! ...strangely, for a singer, he is the weak link in the band.

All the others are pretty competant musicians...Vince on the other hand!!!!
You know you have problems when your bassist (OK, he does write the songs!!!) has to actually show & teach the singer the melody and phrasing of the lyrics!!!

Man, I used to love reading all those interviews when they just slagged each other off...!!! Shocked lol!
"Vince just can't sing and has the biggest ego!"..."Nikki's a control freak!"...blah blah blah!!!!!

I still think that Mick is clinically dead and they've just wired his corpse up to move like he's playing a guitar.

I sat front row right in front of Mick a couple years ago on the Aerosmith tour, and the guy loves what he does. You can see it in his face. He has a disease that doesn't allow him to move his upper body much at all, but you can tell he wants to so bad. I was always a fan of Mick's, but after seeing him so up close, I have more of a spot in my heart for the guy. He is just a solid rock guitar player who loves what he does.

Yeah. I'm being a bit cruel I guess. He's an integral aprt of the Crue sound, a decent guitar player and should be applauded for the way he handles himself despite having such a harsh and disabilitating disease.

Ah, the Vince issue.....it's a shame, really. He seems to have the attitude "I'm Vince Neil....that's all I have to do is be Vince Neil." If he would make the effort it would be awesome! Instead he only sings like half the lyrics when they play live. It's frustrating! He knows how to work a stage, but it almost seems like he'd rather ONLY work the stage and forget singing at all! Mad

I can't stand paying money to see a live act & they just stand there like their bored! burst into flames ..You might as well stay at home & put their Cd on!! Rolling Eyes...I wanna be worked up too.. rock on

Corabi deserves to be in a " big " band and not (dare I say it) waste his time in Union and E.S.P.

Well he's been in Crue & Ratt. Two of the biggest 80's bands ever and The Scream were cool until he joined Crue...

Nothing long term there though. Or is he happy, like Eric Singer, being a jouneyman musician
going from one band to the next and never really finding a home ?
