Never been very interested in Ska, but, this band's music precedes the classification, and I really dug on the horns and voilins in toto when this was current

On the sixteenth day, God created complete crap. And, it was proud. Seeing this, and slightly traumatized after capping off His Great and Wonderful Works with this curious beast . . . He surprised himself by laughing like only Big Guy can, as He thought, "Shit, and not very good at that!" Thus, He scrapped the whole fXXXin' week and flew to the Florida Keys just to sleaze, throw back a chilly brewjackski, or two, and clear his head.

Yes Vinnie we know you play fast...now try playin a solo that doesn't sound like the before...or the one before that...or the one before that...or...!
I think I get what Paul n Gene meant about having to 'reign in' his playin. In KISS he played with some style and feelin for the songs on the album anyway. Live was not quite the same. This tho was just shite.
Widdly widdly widdly...

Agreed. Speed and accuracy alone does not a good guitarist make.( Oh, I've gone all Joda-ry !! ) A little warmth, heart, feel and soul wouldn't go amiss. Although I can appreciate this kind of playing is very clever and skillful, it just leaves me cold.
