Saw the trailer for this yesterday and it looks really good. Wasn't too sure at first about this, but I think i't'll be a good, fun, popcorn film!
When's it out? Chrissy, fancy some popcorn?

Can't get excited over Spidey and Batty after the glory of the Avengers. Hopefully they'll both be brilliant and rekindle my interest.

Spidey is ok. Just takes too long to get to the point of him being Spidey. There was no need to really do a reboot of the story, could've just carried on with a different actor in the lead role a'La James Bond.
Not that it's a bad film because it's not, just we've all been spoilt by The Avengers (assemble)....

I guess T.A.S will be out for a while so you can see T.D.K.R & then Spidey and compare the two! I did enjoy Spidey but I'm still not sure we needed yet another origin story & this is my main concern for the new Superman film 'Man of Steel'.
Still as long as these movies are being made then I'll go see them & enjoy them for what they are...

I think we definitly need a new Superman and it needs to be a full on original. The original as we know it Reeves/Hackman is such a classic but its for our generation. This is where the age is going to show Pete. Movie producers need to grab a new audience and it needs to start with the original story. From there they can take it into any direction they want.
I understand why they didn't make one while Reeves was alive and his memory was just so strong but a fresh start is on its way and its a perfect time for it. This franchise can be a huge hit if its done right.

I guess. As you say the 1978 is iconic though.
