KISS Begins Recording 'First New Album In Ten Years'

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has issued the following update:

"It's a busy time. KISS is recording its first new album in ten years and we're rehearsing for the South American stadium tour, which starts April 1. Then we head to start the Canadian tour. We are also finishing season IV of 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels'. We debut in June on A&E.

"Our Simmons Records co-venture with Universal Music is doing well and we are about to announce some of our first signings.

"Simmons Comics Group (our venture that has titles like Dominatrix, Zipper and Gene Simmons House Of Horrors) is about to make a big announcement.

"Simmons Books/Phoenix Books did well with my 'Ladies Of The Night' book, a best-seller on the Los Angeles Times best-selling list.

"Moneybag clothing line is gearing up with lots of new, cool stuff. You'll soon see it out there.

"We did a Dr Pepper commercial, which should be on the air at the beginning of the month.

"Simmons Abramson is continuing to do well, with our new client Find.com.

Please give up on this $ quest and just give us some music. I used to worship Gene as my hero...now he just embarrasses me. Here we are on the brink of a new album and he's focusing on just about every other project but the album...

Yeh Ditto again, ASSHOLE was a fkn typical Gene having too many fingers in too many pies, if he concerntrates on an album like he did back in the 70's, we would see a killer.

Everyone is allowed a few duff songs and even an album or two...but how Gene fu*ked up so badly with Asshole is beyond me. I cannot listen to it. Yet his 78 album, I love along with the unreleased demos.

Gene has become a victim of his own ego. Personally, I believe he relies on the loyalty of the fans to just accept and not question. He waffles on about the fans bein the boss, but if he really meant it he'd stop rippin us off...

Hahaha you poms have a summer???? Come here if you want a real summer, we have heat waves for 2 or 3 weeks straight over 40 to 46 Celcius, for the Amercans here that is about 110+ in your temp. As we enter winter, it is 25-29 here, beautiful weather, but I am over this summer, too many bushfires this year, that killed too many ppl.
