My contract with Vodafone expires next Friday & I don't intend to renew it. My options are 02 or Orange & I just wondered if any of you are on these networks and what you think of them?

Cheers

Pete

I used to be on Orange and any mobile network that gives you coverage on Hadrians Wall can't be faulted! It's a shame they moved their customer serves 'offshore' though.

But coverage wise I never had a problem anywhere at all.

I'm on Orange, no complaints and like their cheap cinema tickets scheme.

Well...in the end after a nice chat with the 'customer retention' department at Vodafone I'm sticking with them, getting a £15.00 deduction from my current bill and start a 12 month SIM only package on Saturday. 300 Minutes, unlimited texts & 512MB of internet for £10.00 per month. cheesin'

When you act like a child & throw a strop major companies pull out all the stops... Wink

When I worked for the AA if anyone called and said they wanted to cancel my manger would basically tell us to give them anything they wanted to get them to stay!!!!

Best thing is if in 90 days time I'm still not happy I can just walk away from them as I'm not paying for a phone. If I am happy with them, come June I can get a nice new phone & renegotiate my contract with them. Best to do it on the phone though as that's were all the deals are...

They've been ringing since Monday. I knew it was them and ignored it until yesterday. Kept calm, explained my issues & dissatisfaction, why I was leaving them & basically got everything I wanted. Very Happy

That's funny Vodaphone were complete twats with Stevie. She'd been with them for 16 years and when she tried to negotiate they basically told her that if she could get a better deal elsewhere, do so. She did and did !!!!

Wow! That is a real surprise. There is so much competition out there, and has been for years, that usually they do try and keep you. Especially long time customers. Maybe the geezer was havin a bad day...
