Woo!! Must contain my excitement!

Seeing as this going be on a boat it gives me great pleasure to say..

There really is no depths that this band won't sink to so they can make a few extra $$$!!!

No doubt they will justify it with the usual 'this is a special event for those who can afford it' crap, but to price fans out of something really gets my back up.

I know it makes no difference how long you have been a fan, that's doesn't entitle to anything more than any other fan. If you love the band, you love the band, but I do feel like the only fans the band value are the ones with very deep pockets, full of cash.

And when you've followed the band for over well over 30 years, regardless of what I wrote above, I do feel a bit bitter that the fans who were there and stood by the band through all the down times are pretty much brushed aside in favour of those who have the cash.

However if I could afford it I'd like to do this...

I saw this on facebook and my first thought was that I did think it was really cool. I see Adam's post and I have to agree its sad really. Alot of bands have done this so its not something new. A few years back they had a huge cruise go out over hear to Mexico and it had some really good bands..Poison, Cinderella, Queesnryche..and a few more just can't remember it. The good catch to this. All the tickets were won not bought. Carnival cruise just as large as KISS's boat but you got 2 tickets for frr if you won. You had lots of chances to win..Radio play was the big one and their web sites was another and there were a few other. The only thing you were responsible for was airfare.
To me that was well done. Any fan could go if they were the lucky ones choosen and oyu didnt get to automatically go if you were able to afford the ticket..

Wish KISS would do something like that and then I'd say well done..

I have to say I agree...

If I lived in the USA I'd movin Heaven & Earth to be on that boat! As it is there isn't a chance in hell I can this...

Would have to join the KISS Army, then the tickets, then the flight & spendin money!!! I'd have more chance if I tried to walk across the Atlantic!!!

Tho, in truth, the only thing that appeals is the 2 KISS shows...not sayin the rest wouldn't be fun, but the gigs are all I'd really like to go for.

Oh well.

I just saw the full ad for this..I am surprised at how cheap the room are. I know its only four day which is a rip off for a cruise. Wonder how fast this is going to sell out?

Cheap, if you live in Continental USA. Not that cheap when you have to fly from the RotW!

Airfare is not cheap these days at all. Not exactly a walk from California to Florida!!
