I've been holding back on this until I had a better idea of my present situation. As it stands I have just been offered a new job!!!!

But not the shift I went for!!! Seems they really want me, but due to the location they want me to do a later shift and almost certainly over the weekends also and it'll be fixed hours.

I find out tomorrow or Wednesday what my shift hours and days will be so hoping I can do this but looks very unlikely.

But the good bit is...

Well I have 7 week rolling shift in which I do 2 Saturdays. IF after training I start on week 1, and not at some other point in the rota, then I will be free on the Saturday!...

But it would be just my luck that that they start my mid rota and I'm in on the Saturday!! Pessimistic? Me?...

I guess I'll find out next Monday but as I get 5 weekends off, the odds are looking good!
