There's a Premier Inn right by the train station. Sure I've seena Travelodge somewhere.

Yates is open at 10:30 and that pub where we went to with Chrissy is open at 10:30 also.

So it would seem we have options!!!...

Great time was had!!!

Even tho the beer festival had ran out of a few of the selections there was still plenty to choose from, until later on in the day when at least another 6 barrels got emptied! Pete & Roger ended two of them!!

Some very nice brews on offer and were happilly sampled! Due to impending state of drunkeness & 'medical' reasons I stopped drinking before Pete & Roger who continued to indulge in the ales provided!!!

Met up with another forum member from 'that' site, who was on top form with his stories, and ended up going for a curry which was not bad. Headed to pub and realised that I was well n truely stuffed!!! Couldn't even drink the Cola I got!

Got back here, chilled, slept, got up & went for breakfast at pub then Pete n Roger headd off and that was it!!!

Thanks to the lads for telling me about the beer festival, 'cos I had no idea about it (I only live here, why should I know!!!?) and even bigger thanks for the invite! Had a blast with good peeps and a brill day...

And to top it all off...ROGER SORTED A TICKET TO LONDON KISS SHOW!!!...

Freaky bit of info...Pete informed us that it was exactly a year to the day that we all met up here and went to see Whitesnake. Maybe meeting on June 16 will become an annual event!!!!...

Hopefully we don't meet up just once a year !!

That was not what I meant to imply!!!...

And really was a great day. Had a good laugh with all. Seeing as I rarely get to go out these days, it was a real treat for me! Good company, good beer, good food & cool times.

Doesn't get much better...
