I am really glad they said no to this..I have been following this in hte papers for a while now...They made it sound like they were trying to develope this land to keep it open spaced and natural but really it sure looked like a huge land scam....Just a way for them to have a huge mansion in a completely natural area that they would have all control over...Leave Californias open spaces alone!!!!

You guys have got it all wrong. U2 deserve all the credit in the world. They truly are inspirational. They're the ultimate proof that you don't have to be talented to be a musician. You know? One day your sitting in some grotty pub in Ireland deciding which bloke your going to glass, then you have the genius idea of starting a band with three other complete clowns. So, you get a drummer who can just about keep a 4/4 beat, a singer whining about the same shit in every song, an incredibly talentless bassist and a guitarist who truly shows that you don't have to play guitar, to be a guitarist. I mean, he's like the Carrot Top of guitar. Carrot tops fucked without his props and The Edge is fucked without all those delay and chorus pedals.
