Knew a guy twenty years ago that had wiped-out in New Jersey, on a motorcycle, and had gravel all in the eye socket - around his eye. They didn't remove it for fear of ruining his sight. Weird looking.

Yeah, George Mays was his name. My first mechanic at Tucker Mobil. He also had gravel actually driven into the radius ( forearm, elbow) bone, and patella ( knee cap) which was not removed, and the skin grew over as the injuries healed. About four and half feet tall, laughing if he was doing anything, and mad as a hatter! He damn sure could build an old car into a powerhouse muscle machine, though!!!
