PostSubject: OVER THE RAINBOW: More U.S. Dates Announced   OVER THE RAINBOW: More U.S. Dates Announced I_icon_minitimeSat May 09, 2009 5:17 pm

OVER THE RAINBOW has scheduled the following U.S. dates:

July 03 - Toyota Park - Bridgefield, IL
July 04 - Downtown Street Festival - El Paso, TX
July 06 - Ocean City Music Pier - Ocean City, NJ
July 08 - Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills, MI (opening for BTO)
July 10 - Crocodile Rock Cafe - Allentown, PA
July 11 - The Stone Pony - Asbury Park, NJ

OVER THE RAINBOW is:

Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW 1980-1984) - Vocals
Tony Carey (RAINBOW 1975-1978) - Keyboards
Bobby Rondinelli (RAINBOW 1980-1983) - Drums
Greg Smith (RAINBOW 1994-1997) - Bass
Jürgen "J.R." Blackmore - Guitar (Ritchie Blackmore's son)

Jürgen Blackmore is a critically acclaimed guitarist in his own right and agreed to join this endeavor after realizing how intense the demand was for a RAINBOW "reunion." OVER THE RAINBOW marks the first time that four members from three different eras of RAINBOW have taken the stage together along with J.R. Blackmore.
