those are lame!!!!
they are just as bad as JC Penny selling Led Zepplin t-shirts. All these little jerks that have never seen a live show go to these stores and buy these shirts like they are real die hard fans.

The all black ac/dc ones are forgivable maybe I'll buy them for my kids.

Shocked Shocked Shocked

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this issue then! I like the AC/DC ones myself.

However I do agree about the kids wearing shirts of bands they've never heard of. Pisses me right of too!

I agreed with you....I said I liked the black AC/DC shoes. I thought the others were pretty lame.
But don't cry I probably stand alone; so just take this off of my "What to get Chrissy for Christmas" list and well call it a day.
I still like you....
Even with your new big bad New York attitude!

When are you going to tell us about your trip?

The only ones I like are the all black ones. I might get a pair, if they are not too much.

Yeah!
I like the AC/DC 'Back In Black' cloth ones...very simplistic...very cool.

And I also HATE seeing rock shirts in fashion shops...as the joke goes, if you see a kid in one of these 'fashion' shirts go up to them, start a conversation then ask what their fav album/song is by said artists shirt they are wearing...then walk away laughing as they go 'er, well, hmm, ahhh...!!!'

One of my favorite all time stories involves a young kid of about 16 in an Iron maiden t'shirt. He was behind the counter at a semi-punk store. They had aces high blaring out of the speakers and this young man thought he was legit! I was 8 months pregnant at the time and did not really fit in but I was getting something for my husband. He leans over the counter and yells to me..."Dude"is the music to loud for you? Like I look like a dude. So I tell him no its fine...So he leans back and yells "Its Iron Maiden" and I yelled back to him "Dude I know I used to actually go see them in concert when i was your age. I have their music on this black round thing called an album..In fact I have all of them. Maybe you should go see one of their shows before you wear one of their concert shirts?

He was deflated and just gave me my change and walked away....

Dickhead!

You are correct and those are fans..I'm addressing the ones you are wearing them only for fashion and know nothing about the band...

Plus I don't mind Rock shirts if your a fan but I hate re-issued concert shirts from a concert they never went too..

As Chrissy said
chrissy wrote:

I have actually talked to some of these 'fashion' shirt kids and when asking the fav album/song question had the 'er, well, hmm!' responce!!!

Also read an interview with Holly Vallance who when asked if she was a fan of The Ramones, as she wore a Ramones shirt in a video, admitted she only wore it 'cos the director thought it would be 'cool'... Rolling Eyes kill

Funny story along similar lines to that of RFFB.

There was once a lad at work with an Iron Maiden 'Number of the Beast' T-shirt on.

I KNEW he wasn't into metal at all, so I approached him and commented on his t-shirt saying how cool the actual record is. I then asked him if he preferred Running Free or Run to the Hills from the album NOTB...

Guess which one he plumped for?? lol!

Anyway I leant him all my Maiden CD's to educate him. The CD's were returned quite quickly (too quickly to copy IMHO) and he's never worn that T-shirt again!!!

I saw some of those in the Shu Store the other week. Not bad, shame they're DC though.

Yeah. I think Marvel should sneak in on the act here.
