Slipknot Announces More Tour Dates

SLIPKNOT has added the following US dates to their tour schedule:

May
3 - Van Andel Arena - Grand Rapids, MI (with DEVILDRIVER, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD)
5 - Prairie Capital Convention Center - Springfield, IL (with DevilDriver, 3 Inches Of Blood)
6 - Scottrade Center - St. Louis, MO (with DevilDriver, 3 Inches Of Blood)
8 - Zoo Amphitheatre - Oklahoma City, OK (with KORN, THE USED, ALL THAT REMAINS, DIRTFEDD)
9 - Edge Fest @ North Shore River Walk Park East - North Little Rock, AR (with STAIND, CHEVELLE, DROWNING POOL, ALL THAT REMAINS, DIRTFEDD)
10 - Hartman Arena - Park City, KS
12 - KRRO Fest 09 at Canaries Stadium - Sioux Falls, SD (with Korn, The Used, CLUTCH, All That Remains, Dirtfedd)
13 - Alltell Center - Mankato, MN
14 - US Cellular Center - Cedar Rapids, IA

Roadrunner Records UK recently confirmed that on March 13th MTV will broadcast Slipknot live in concert as part of their new MTV World Stage series. The band have posted a taster for the show online. Check it out below.

The show will feature the bands crushing performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on December 3rd, 2008 and will be broadcast across the MTV network in over 160 countries.

UK viewers can see the show on MTV UK (Sky channel 350 and Virgin Media channel 311) at 11 PM, March 13th. It will be broadcast in high definition.

The band toured the UK in support of their current album All Hope Is Gone, which hit the UK album charts at #2 and is now Gold certified. The band have been confirmed to headline at this years Download festival which takes place at June 12th - 14th at Donington Park."
