I'm pretty sure Dave's been back on the sauce. Unless he's holding an IBC root beer there, I'm pretty sure that's proof.

I saw some recent guitar lessons that he gave, and he looks and sounds so wasted.

I hope he's alright. He's definitely one of my biggest metal influences. Now he just has to get Marty back in the band!!!

I had the Metallica dvd 'Some Kind Of Monster' They hired a coach 'a shrink' to help them get along fine so they could record their last album without murdering each other.
Dave Mustaine was invited for a session with that coach, and he said he still haven't accepted the fact he was kicked out Metallica because of his alcohol @ drugs problems. He even started to cry on that video.

Lars Ulrich had quite a harsh reaction to Dave's confession. He said 'the only thing you can tell after 20 years is you still haven't digested your rejetion from Metallica'.

Ouch. I like Lars but sometimes his franckness hurts a little. I understand what dave must have felt like when they told him to go to rehab. Let's picture this : You're 20, full of pride and ambition, you are playing with the new breaking the ice upcoming band, and you have to leave.

I think that letter shows Dave really wants to get over his pain but it's still really hard to him. Even with the Megadeth success

Nobody likes rejection. It can really mess a person up.

I never saw the whole DVD but I thought it was a big risk Putting their personal issues out to the public. I'm 100% for therapy and counseling though. They obviously needed to work through some major issues. Lars was not so warm was he!!! Meanie Lars!!!! Be nicer to Dave!!!!
