He was/is a very good friend of mine. Brother of Chris (Wally) and bass player with Dealer. He was killed on Saturday while on his motorbike.

Thanks Pete. I'm absolutely stunned and devastated about this. He was such a lovely guy (just like his brother) always greeted you with a smile and a joke and loved his real ale. Chris was in Spain on holiday when he phoned me yesterday with the news, they flew back last night and were with Petes' wife this morning when he texted me to say they had arrived back. I will phone them tonight to see how they're baring up.

THE bass player of well known Cirencester heavy metal band Dealer has been named as the man killed in a motorcycle accident on the B4425 on Saturday evening.

It is believed that Pete Gentil, 52, collided with a deer while riding his black aprillia motorcycle, at around 7.50pm on Saturday evening.

The accident happened near the junction of Welsh Way and Hay Lane near Bibury. "

The anniversary this weekend, can't believe it's been a year already. Still miss you lots Pete my lad but looking forward to seeing the regenerated DEALER in November. By all accounts the new guy will do you proud.
