'Stg Pepper' is one helluva class album.

And their films showed a great humourous side to the band.

I would have loved to have seen them. For the experience if nothing else.

I've always loved the Beatles. "Sexy Sadie" is one of my favorite cuts from the White Album. I liked it even more when I found out what it was all about.

My dad always said that when they came around, music changed dramatically. He would tell me, "You can't imagine how different they were compared to what was out there at the time."

I couldn't really appreciate what he was talking about until I saw some multi-hour long special on Rock 'N' Roll from the '50's and '60's. They played a healthy sampling of music from the time (which I was familiar with, but never in a chronological context). When they got to the Beatles, it was just like night and day. It was then that I finally realized the impact they had on popular music.

No Beatles = No Kiss. So therefore very important band even if I'm not a big fan.

Never been a fan of the group or the offshoots, but as Pete says they did influence a great many
people. So for that reason alone, I appreciate their worth.

You mean you don't appreciate the musical masterpiece that is 'The Frog Chorus'?

Never have liked them. They had a couple of tunes and I listen to once in a while, but I don't think I will ever have a cd or mp3 of theirs.

Wings 'Band On The Run' was the first record I remember really loving. i used to play it, literally, each and every day for an eternity! Still think it's a great record.

Like has been said, The Beatles changed music for ever and also the better.

I really need to add more of their stuff to my collection...
